Register | Cancellation Policy
- By choosing to register and pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque, Draft or Bank Transfer you agree to all terms & conditions (including all terms & conditions of PaddyPowerPoker.com)
- It is the responsibility of each customer to ensure that all personal details are current and up to date, as failure to do so may result in payments not being accepted.
- If you are an existing Paddy Power customer you may NOT transfer funds from your Poker /Sportsbook account to pay for the Irish Poker Open
- Credit Card Payments
- The cardholder must present their credit card at the registration desk in the Burlington Hotel as they will be required to sign in at the event.
- Customers paying by credit card will incur a processing fee of 1.35% on the transaction value. This will be paid as part of the registration payment. Players paying by credit card must pay this surcharge or their registration will not be accepted.

- Customers will receive a receipt via email once registration is complete. Receipt will be sent to the email address provided.

Paddy Power recognise that online security is an area of vital importance for all our clients. It is imperative that you should be fully satisfied that your personal details are 100% secure before you make your purchase. Paddypower.com uses a 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This means that all personal and financial information sent to and from our site are encrypted to the highest industry standard and that only our staff can decrypt and read this information.
In order to protect both ourselves and our customers from identity theft we may verify the information you have provided with our banking institutions over secure lines. Again this is carried out in accordance with the procedures set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 - Group Bookings
Group bookings are allowed by credit/debit card provided that:
- The cardholder is one of the registered players.
- The cardholder must present their credit/debit card at the registration desk in the Burlington Hotel as they will be required to sign in at the event.
- Cancellation (or partial cancellation) of Group Bookings
- If one, or all, members of a Group booking wish to cancel their registration the cardholder must email irishopen@paddypower.com providing details of the cancellation.
- Refunds (or partial refunds) will be returned to the cardholder’s credit/debit card where possible. Alternatively refunds will be issued by cheque.
- No cancellations will be accepted after the 1st of April 2007.
- All Cheques/Bank Drafts and bank transfers must be in EURO
- Cheque/ Draft payments:
- No 3rd party cheques/drafts will be accepted
- The name on the cheque/draft must match that of the player registering
- Cheques/Bank Drafts must be accompanied by the signed downloadable registration form and sent (with the cheque/draft)
- Once you have sent the cheque/draft you must email irishopen@paddypower.com with the following information:
- Subject line of email must state your Name and the words "Irish Open Cheque"
- The date you sent the cheque/draft
- Amount of the cheque
- The event you registered for
- Bank Transfer Payments:
- No 3rd party Bank Transfers will be accepted
- The name on the Bank Transfer must match that of the player registering
- Once you have sent the Bank Transfer you must email irishopen@paddypower.com with the following information:
The email must contain the following information:- The Date you transferred the money
- Your Account Name
- Your Bank Account number
- Your Bank’s sort code
- Your Bank’s Name and Address
- The amount you transferred
- The event you registered for
- Payments cannot by processed without this confirmation email
- Please allow for 1-5 working days for the payment to be processed.
- Once we have received payment we will reply by email to confirm registration.
- We will accept bank transfers up until Friday 23rd March 2007
- You are entirely responsible for the information that you provide to Paddy Power and its subsidiaries and we shall not be liable for incorrect entries made by you, including data input errors.
- We reserve the right, from time to time, and at our sole discretion, to change or update certain provisions of these Terms and Conditions. All changes will be published here on www.irishpokeropen.com. Upon publication, each change will become effective and you will be deemed to be aware of and bound by any changes on our site. It is your responsibility to read, understand and regularly consult these Terms and Conditions.
- Cancellation of Payment: we will not accept any cancellation after the 1st of April 2007
- You acknowledge that Paddy Power and its subsidiaries will hold information with respect to your identity, including but not limited to your name, address and payment details. You agree that we rely on this information in entering into this agreement with you and you agree to hold us harmless against any falsehood or inaccuracy contained in the information you provide us.
- By entering the venue (City West Hotel and Conference Centre, Dublin) at the paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open 2009 you consent to your likeness and image being used on television and the internet internationally, without restriction and in all forms of media for the distribution and promotion of the Irish Open only. Entry into this tournament is taken as consent to participating in the TV coverage.
- At non–feature tables, players may wear what they please so long as it does not interfere with other people's enjoyment of the event. Tournament Organiser's and Director's may ask a player to change attire if it is not deemed appropriate. Their decision will be final.
- The following terms and conditions are for the feature table(s) at the Main Event of the Irish Open 2009. This will be an eight seated table within the main hall of the event that will be recorded by several cameras (including under the table cameras) and then broadcast internationally on terrestrial TV, digital TV and/or on the Internet. The feature table will be the final table on the last day of the tournament. By partaking in this event you consent that you will willingly partake in this feature table if requested.
At the feature table:
- Players are permitted to wear sponsors logos (without a ".com") on their shirts only. These logos will be no larger than 10cm * 7cm on the left breast pocket and no larger than 8cm * 3cm on each sleeve.
- Players may wear sunglasses, hats or other headgear provided there is no visible branding and the players' speech and ears are visible.
- Players may not wear earphones.
- No other branding on any part of their body, clothing, chip protectors, or jewellery, will be permitted
- Players' general appearance and sponsors shirts must be neat and clean. These shirts must have sleeves and collars (polo shirts and t–shirts will not be permitted) and must not be white. Sponsors must be aware that their players will not be allowed play on the feature table in unsuitable clothing. Tournament Organiser's decision will be final. Substitute shirts will be provided if available.
- Players may be sponsored before the event begins and not during the event. Players must notify the Organiser's of their sponsor prior to commencement of the event.
- No more than one third of the feature table players may be sponsored by the one company. In the situation where more than two players (at a six seat table) or three players (at an eight seat table) players sponsored by one company have made it to the feature table, either a person representing the relevant sponsor should decide upon who wears the shirts or the Tournament Director will choose.
- Paddy Power Poker and the Tournament decision will be final on what clothing complies with the above rules.
- Players also consent to participating in all reasonable requests for interviews and photographs surrounding this event. Publicity will be used in press releases and on paddypowerpoker.com to promote the Irish Open. Winners of events at the Irish Open will be required for future publicity of the Irish Open.
- Players must agree to disclose their hole cards to the under the table cameras at the feature table and any refusal to do so could lead to disqualification from the event with no prize money being awarded and no refunds given.
- Paddy Power Poker reserves the right to add or amend any tournament rules, as they feel appropriate
- Players must be appropriately dressed at all times within the main arena and will not be permitted to play if dressed in a manner deemed distracting to other players. The tournament director & Paddy Power Poker reserve the right to refuse participation of any players that does not abide by this rule.
