Benny Glaser Finishes in Runner-Up Spot (€29,565)

Breathing chip fumes himself, Benny Glaser was instantly all in too, moving in with Qd 3d.  Max Silver gave him a spin with 7h 4h.

Flop: 3h 9h 3c.  “Spicy,” said Glaser.  Indeed.

Turn: 3s. “Not so spicy,” he said.  The 8h river was academic, and Glaser had a short resurgence.

The coup de grace saw Glaser pick up the mighty pocket eights, but Silver was not to be outdone – he tabled pocket jacks, to general amused incredulity.  Glaser headed to the cash desk, and there was only the matter of the trophy to be settled…
