Seamus Cahill Eliminated in 8th Place (€27,500)

It folded around to Seamus Cahill on the button, who pushed his last 1.2 million in; Dave Masters called from the small blind, and they were at showdown.

Cahill: 8h-9h
Masters: As-5c

Board: A promising but ultimately no-dice Ah 6h Qd 8d 5d

A fantastic run for Cahill on his second Irish Open final table (he came fourth in 2011), and although it’s always disappointing to bust at this stage, at least gets to look forward to watching back this extremely entertaining final online later.
